Hi All, I'm currently using the Viewpoint Level 1 live package. Considering switching to Level 5 since it's only R15 more. I trade index futures exclusively. Is Level 5 worth it? How much different/helpful is it compared to Level 1. Thanks

Dineo, The new platform is atrocious. It's hard to find anything. The linear blog format is not suited to a discussion. This looks more like a place to dump out random ideas than actually get a discussion going. The views vs replies columns makes that quite clear. The old platform - quiet as it was - was easier to navigate and post on. This new flashy platform looks more suited for Facebook teens than traders.

It's one big jumbled mess. There's no order, no sorting. Looks more like a teen blog than a discussion forum. They went for flash over substance with this. You have to wonder why they even bothered.

You can forget about them doing anything about thier horrendous IT. They made imrpovements to the stability but they still can't be bothered to fix simple things. You can log calls till you're blue in the face but it never gets resolved. The only comfort I get from this platform is that they're the cheapest for futures trading.

Webtrader is a fantastic rip-off. You would be well advised to stay far away from it. There are other cheaper options for international trading than this ridiculously overpriced offering.

Had Richemont which I offloaded recently. Their best days seem behind them. Crackdown in China and a slowdown in Europe and the US. Big management changes coming next year along with Rupert retiring. Winds of change are blowing. The rich will be held to account soon and made to pay their fair dues and taxes. CFR will feel the brunt of these changes.

Good question. They did warn that profit would be down about 45% in September. So that's where they came in today. You would assume the market would've already priced it in. At worst the stock would stay flat but how does it end up rallying 10% then?

Down on just about every metric - sales, profit, margins, cash flow. I can't find anything positive in the these results that would justify such a big move - now at almost 10% up. This thing should be 10% DOWN.

Could anybody help me understand why there is such a big difference between the price of the TOP40 spot and futures. And why do they not move by a similar amount. Today the T40 is down 390 points but the JUN contract is only down 150 points.
