IOS app reference hidden from view

Huge irritation when I transfer between accounts, the reference is hidden under the keyboard and I have to hope I hit the right keys! I can only see what I've typed when I tap "Done." I have an iPhone 6 on the latest os with the latest banking app. Am I the only one?
