I have been a loyal Standard Bank Customer for 42 years but please read my lips; Short out the mess that is the Standard Bank Mobile App or I move everything somewhere else.
It is a race to the bottom, everytime there is a update we have less functionality and more confusion.
A long time ago Standard Bank used to be a leader in technology, but is struggling to provide the most elementary of service nowadays.
The following must be noted and actioned:
- Why Is there no iPad version?
- Why does the App look so cheap an awkward?
- Why the confusing arrangement of small menus in corner and scrolling unintuitive scrolling?
- Why are cards shown while everyone works with accounts?
- Why do cards appear and disappear randomly?
- Where can I see my futue dated payment at a glance?
- Why can't I see numerous past payments to a beneficiary?
- Why are SMS notifications irregular and haphazard?
- Why is the add beneficiary and once-off payment menus hidden and so complicated?
- Why to we have to add 00 to the branch code?
- Why does the App have a fraction of the functionality of the old website?
- Why can I not provide feedback in the App? - Why must I come here? What is this a forum of sorts?
and so on and so on....
Standard Bank is fast becoming irrelevant as a banking service provider.
It is time you look at the competition like Capitec that are still interested in serving.
