Also, I can buy crypto at the Valr exchange? So how is that possible if crypto exchanges are blocked?

Even if there are other options, I still need the money to come out of my Standard Bank account, which will be blocked.
How do other people get to buy crypto at Binance???

As previously mentioned, cryptocurrency exchange intuitions are not supported, which may be the cause of the block and the inability to complete transactions.
Please be aware that our Card Payments Team has changed all cross-border online transactions involving cryptocurrency to decline.

Hi there!

I have tried several methods to deposit into Binance:

1. Link Bank Account -  I can link it via Biance, and see my bank balance in Binance, but I get an Internal error ocurred.

2. Credit Card Deposit - It goes through the entire verification with one time pin, shows verification successful -  transaction fails.

3. Debit Card - Same as credit card

Contacted Binance -  they said the transactions are failing at the bank.

Phoned the bank call centre a couple of times - and according to them:  Transaction blocked by Law, it is illegal to do the transaction.   Another agent said, transaction blocked by Law, but it is on Binance side.

It is very frustrating.

Are you having trouble making deposits or withdrawals?

Also, if making a withdrawal into another platform, the site might've been flagged for something, like a scam.

Maybe ask for clarification with the call centre agent.

My binance transactions are blocked. It goes through the entire verification process just to fail at the end.
The Std bank call center says it is blocked by the reserve bank??
