I recently graduated and started working. I went to my nearst STB branch in February in order to start repaying my student loan. The attendant helping me told me that a process is in place where a spesific department within Standardbank has to be notified via email, then they would contact me regarding the repayment amount. The process then contunues with me going back to the brach and organising the debit order and the interest to be shifted from my surety to me. So far (June) they have not yet contacted me regarding the repayment amount. I also visited the same branch several times in the meanwhile to try to resolve this, however, they still claim the pocess cannot continue without them contacting me.
