LOL I always believe in the most recent gap as the one to watch as the fear, greed of the day before has already been worked out into the market, but there is no hard and fast rule. I always wait and let the market tell me.

I didn't take a gap trade yesterday. But I'm interested that you did. Previously you made a point that the low risk trade is where the gap is below the low of the previous day. In this case - that leaves no gap. The close in this case was to the previous days close (and then some, for the really brave!).

Sorry I am struggling to understand what you mean. In my world there are 2 kinds of gaps. 1. gap from 4th-7th april, where the open on the 7th exceeds the high of the 4th. The second kind 7th -8th april were the open is lowere than the close but this takes place within the previous days trading range. Both are equally powerful. The only diffrece is were I define my entry and exit. I hope this helps.
