The Japanese have a saying " corrections stop at the window (gap). when a rising window (gap) occurrs the entire space of that window is considered as a support area. so if you have a long position and a rising window (gap) has just formed you can expect that window to act as support. if the price goes back down into the window but does not close below it then support has not been broken, hope that makes sense.

Ther chart I'm using isn't exactly brilliant, but I see what you're refering to. So the theory is that we shouldn't see a drop below that otherwise we're back in the brown stuff?
