Confused about Installments - SIMIBA

Reply

Hi all... This installment has the following info: Price of SIMIBA = 10c Underlying = Simmers Simmers at Close Yesterday = R7.00 Final Installment = R9.00 Conv Ratio = 1:1 Expiry = 4 Sep 2007 What is confusing me is that this seems more like a warrant. Are Installments normaly not offered at half the ruling price at a point in time (i.e. share at R7, installment offered at R3 with some interest). Simmers has never been anywhwere close to R9.00. Is this actually a warrant? Werner

I think this is actually an Investec EDS - so if you use the filter on this website it should sow uo under instalments. In reality some of the eds' are more like warrants, as Simon says...

Spoke to Richard (Investec) This product is definitely a Warrant (even though it is classed as a EDS (read Installment)). So it has been classed incorrectly. So i have not lost my mind... Werner
