hi there. im new to share trading. i would just like to know why this share was up by 2.8 percent, and then at the closing deal after the auction, it dropped by 2.3 percent? does it have anything to do with the rate cut?

No,it has nothing to do with the rate cut.The last transcation went through just after 5pm [auction]and this transaction was a lot of 2572752 shares. This happens every day. In this case the difference between the second last and the last transaction was 4.4%.I think this is mostly a disadvantage for the smaller players.OMO
