Simon , have a look at this link "http://www.sharenet.co.za/v3/quickshare.php?scode=MTN". and especially the last 10 trades on the extreme right hand side My question is there are trades that are taking place after 5pm which takes place at a higher value, yet subsequent trades are reprice at closing price at 5PM, why?, surely those trade are immediate loss making trade, or am i completely misreading those trades?

The trades not showing .. but they book over .. large tardes agreed to during the day at a price whch makes sense then but booked over after 5 .. coz they agreed to during the day they may reflect either a loss or gain at close price .. 5pm trade still last trade and closing price as the book overs agreed during day ..
