On news24 there is an article that announced that the Sri Lanka central bank bought over $375m gold as security, and india over$0.7bn. It also states that the gold price is most likely to rise to $1300 at new year 2010. Will this be an opportunity to speculate in the short term with goldfields?

In SA you trade sentiment when you trade almost any Gold share. That doesn't mean you can't make money from it, but it does make it harder.
