How do the dividend payouts work? If I hold at LDT I get the full quarter dividend payouts? Regardless if I just buy them on the day? So if a company in the basket declared a special dividend in Jan, if I hold the basket in March I can still get the dividend benefit?

yes but remember the weighting.. if company has only 0.1% weight its only going to have a very small impact on the payout.It work exactly like normal share only they hold all divs and pay quaterly.
