SimonPB please explain discrepancy in closing share prices

Simon, maybe this has been discussed before, so I apologise if you have to restate. Why is there a discrepancy in the closing share prices. I give you an example, today Naspers closed at 299.95 but in "my portfolio" the share price is listed at 292. I checked the prices at 5.35pm

data usually updates around 7 or 8 pm when sent from JSE if I remember the short version.

CPS, nope .. that's safex prices ..
the 292 on npn is because the portfolio is being valued on bid price not ruling ..

Simon, tnx...silly me ;-( If i read the post right i should have realised value based on bid (sometimes ruling when no bid available) etc.
