Can I use a foreign passport number to register for cellphone banking? I'd like to use it to transfer money

Please note that all cellphone banking registrations will require you to use 13 digit South African identification number for this service to be active.

My I am registered for cellphone banking but since I upgraded my phone to the latest Android software I am always asked to register for USSD.

In addition my savings accounts have also been de-linked from my cellphone banking profile.

Please assist
