Can somebody please explain the charges involved in trading shares here.ie I buy 10 BIL and I sell 10 BIL or I buy 1000 BIL and sell 100 BIL.

to give you a very rough idea, when buying and selling shares your brokrage etc will be around 1% of the value bought the 1% when you sell. ie. you buy 100 ABC at R100 each total R10000 + fees of around R100 (that 1% charged by the bank.) means your R100 per share is now yours at R101 each. then lets say in 6 months time you the share is R150 each and you want to sell 80 of them it willbe 8XR150 = R12000 less the 1% brokrage etc = R11880 (ie you got R148.5 per share after all fees. blah blah blah...
