they said that the 0.5% was already factored in thats why they went up 1.5% the other day, now that they get it they rally like madmen, hmmm, not convinced it will last.

Theses Will be Interesting TIMES... Dow looks strong at the moment. Is this where all the money goes back into america????? If so well... emerging markets cant benefit from this

from MSNBC.com "Economists said the Fed decided to move a half-point rather than a quarter-point because it did not want an adverse reaction on Wall Street" Im starting to believe that the feds will do anything the market tells it to do in the short term. They obviously can always increase rates again after lets say 1-2months from now. as long has they are being dictated by the market there could be some stability in the U.S from here. Us poor old emerging markets probably will suffer from most of this long term effect of low interest rates since nice profits made here in the last 4-5 years will go back into the us market. OMO but well see...

Yes but they also cut rates during 2000- 2003 bear markets and it did not help, only in short term.there is just too much debt in the system.see gold-eagle ,tech anal section.there are stuff about it there that explains it well.
