... MSM due to release result / decl. div. on 24/02/2011. Are shareholders entitled to the full div. if Walmart deal (51%) finalised before LDT? or will we only receive div on remain 49% holding?

Surely you receive the full dividend per share. I haven't followed the structure of the takeover. Who is selling them the 51%, is every one retaining 49 shares out of a 100 and getting cash for the 51?. If I held any I would have made sure I knew in ins and outs of the deal.
