Yesterday I placed an order for 50 AGL. Two transactions were made. 2 shares were bought and then another 48 were bought. I was charged R70.00 for the first transaction of two shares and R60 for the second transaction of 48 shares.. I was under the impression that only one brokerage charge is applied if the order is fullfilled by various transactions as long as these happen on the same day.

the two trades are bulked up, the brokerage is shown seperately but together they add up to R130.50 and this is 0.6% of the transaction value. You will also note that Strate was only charged once. So all correct.
