HI! I just bought 1812 SB BTI CA @ 40cent do you think they are going to get at 50cents before the expiry date of which is the 4th of may 2010.

Time decay might cath you so watch for that. Every day that target moves upwards so you have to decie where you want to sell. Question though why only 1800 odd shares? Costs will erode most if not all your profit from a sale?

Sorry, wrong post under wrong thread. But I see what you mean, still time decay and share price movement is going to play against you. last 90 days heavy decay and then speeds up till end and might expire worthless.

You bid at 40c, but Offer is currently 43c, so it won't trade until the Price of BTI drops (or decay gets you). If the price of BTI drops and your trade matches sometime in future, then why would you want to randomly buy then without knowing why the price is dropping? Cancel the trade, wait and watch. If you still believe now is the right time to buy then you will need to trade at the current Offer Price (43c).
