28 JUNE:Anglo American Plc, the mining company that last week rejected Xstrata Plc's proposed merger, plans to begin talks with Aluminum Corp. of China about investing in Anglos' Brazilian iron ore business, the Sunday Telegraph reported. As well as Chinalco, the mining company may approach at least one unidentified Middle Eastern investor, the newspaper said, citing people close to the situation. Discussions are at an early stage and may not result in a deal, the Telegraph said
