That small cap guy doesnt know what he's talking about. how can you compare esor with b&w if they are in two different industries ??? its like comparing two companies like woolworths and mondi because they are both above the r20 barrier !!! one once learnt that you cant expect to compare apples with oranges to get the right result and since there is no other listed company on the jse like this it is hard to tell. its closest like would be the mining industry since that is where 80% (an educated guess) comes from. interesting prospects (ie the uranium connection) but these will only come into fruition post 2010 because they (openly admit that they) dont have the skills yet - read the moneyweb interview with their ceo. so if this share was to take off it would only take off in a few years time. for now it is closely linked to the mining sector and its work supply will only last as long as the mining boom. so if you are bullish on resources back the stock otherwise dont touch it. the asian competition is also a concern even to the local jobs considering that one of our larger companies Cement giant Lafarge South Africa announced on Monday 11 June that it had awarded a R1,2-billion turn-key contract to expand its cement capacity by a million tons a year to a local subsidiary of a Chinese company, CBMI Construction. which goes to show that anything can happen and the world is trully turning into a global village where international competition barriers are becoming less and less. for interest the lafarge article is at
