- You might want to consider the factors that influence the share price/ value of all Gold related instruments in SA. The $ Gold price and the R/$ exchange rate. It's that simple.

As far as I know the offer hasnt been accepted. If you think that it will be accepted there is a little arbitrage play here.

A query from the media release, the statement reads: "Offer of A$0.55 (ZAR4.08*) for Gold One shareholders wishing to exit" The asterisk after the ZAR4.08* is explained further down as an average of the Rand / ADollar exchange of 7.42. Does this mean that the price is fixed at that average or that when the deal goes through it will be another "average". Any thoughts?

I think it might be another average and there is now a flooding problem.That is why the share is not performing.
