The Standard Bank Joy of Jazz 2015 has come to an end. Fans were thrilled with 3 days of amazing sounds from talent spanning across the globe.

Dwight Trible joined Matthew Halsall, the UK based trumpeter and part time Dj in an improvised collaboration of an old classic: The Creator Has a Master Plan. South African born singer now based in London, Estelle Kokot also wowed fans alongside her American saxophonist and composer, Chico Freeman, as they blew away Joburg’s jovial jazz fans. The 27 year old vocalist, Cecile McLorin Salvant, is beaming with smiles from ear to ear as her voice leaves fans speechles. Marcus Miller had everyone on their feet with his guitar riffs, Dee Alexander sang her heart out with tales of oppresion and freedom and Peabo Bryson took every one on a walk down memory lane with his smooth love songs.

30 000 fans enjoyed a world class festival hosted at the world class Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg, South Africa.
