As most people I explored the option of a payment holiday on my home loan. I was impressed how fast the request was approved. However when the T&C's arrived I was shocked. Not only would I loose the access bond facility but also I would need to re apply after the payment holiday. I cancelled my request for the payment holiday. However was informed the payment reversal is already in place and I can transfer the money back into the home loan account. The payment was reversed nearly a month later. I did the transfer as requested and noticed the next month's payment did not go off. I again made a manual payment. Then my access bond facility was cancelled. Long calls to the call centre and it was reinstated. This morning checking my account, guess what...access bond gone. Really! Is this customer service?
