App crashes on ios16

I have activated my touchId on my cellphone whereafter I couldn’t access my internet banking anymore. It asks me to enter the linked card’s details and the pin but as soon as I press next the app closes or crashes. When I reopen the app the process starts over until it crashes again. It’s an iPhone SE running ios 16 which seems to be a general complaint. Can someone please help me?

I cannot log into the standard bank app on my iPhone(iOS 16). It tells me the following
Reset sign in method


It then asks for a linked card and it’s pin and then crashes and doesn’t go any further.
Is this a known problem with the app and do you know how to fix it?
