We appreciate you reaching out to us.

 

ID and Passport applications are processed on the Home Affairs website.

 

We only facilitate the payment process, and then you visit any of our participating branches for biometrics and collection.

 

Once the application has been initiated at dha.gov.za,

 

You need to subscribe first before you can make payments to DHA.

 

 Here's how:

  • Log in to Internet banking.
  • Click ontransact.
  • Under Pay, click My Bills.
  • Confirm the T's and C's by accepting
  • Search for DHA and subscribe before processing a payment.
  • Then process a payment.

 

The bank branches are also listed on the website.

 

You can check 2–4 weeks in advance for available dates.

 

Kindly follow the steps we shared and let us know if you are still unable to complete the application process.

Hello,

 

I would like to know if this applies to Standard Bank - Canal Walk too.

 

I did an online application for my daughters ID card but have the same error when I try book an appointment, can you please confirm is we should take all the paperwork with and wait in the line when they open?

Good Day,

 

I have completed my Passport application on the DHA Ehome website.

 

However, since Friday, 2024/01/12, I cannot obtain a booking date and time, to visit the Kingsmead branch for my finger prints to taken.

Each day I have been logging in to the website, and go to the booking section, the date range changes, but there is no available time slots.

The message that i am constantly getting is:

  • No timeslots are available for your specified criteria; please revise your selection criteria

I have tried to select one date, and then tried to select a date range, but I still get the same message.

 

Each day that I login to the DHA Ehome website, the booking date range changes, but there is never an available timeslot.

 

My question is, is there another way for me to book to have my finger prints taken at Kingsmead?

The last step (10) to download the confirmation letter is not available.

If you are still unable to access your confirmation letter, we would recommend that you contact the Home Affairs team directly. Please visit the home affairs page at: dha.gov.za.

I have completed the application process on eHome Affairs and made an appointment at Canal Walk Branch.

The confirmation says I need to have the "Barcoded Application Confirmation Letter" but I can not find anywhere on the eHome Affairs site to access and print this document. Anyone magaged to find it on the site?
