My brother took an accident policy out and made me the beneficiary i have no luck in claiming as he past away in a motorbike accident in march 2021 and we are still stuggeling to get it sorted out

I refer to your reply to the abovementioned subject matter.

My dad also had a similar policy like this SBIB-MDR000166357. Jan Louis Smit ID440910 5102 080

Unfortunately my dad passed away on the 9th of August 2022 and we are currently busy with his estate. I am the executrix of the estate but the lawyers that are assisting cannot find anyone to assist with the policy. All we want to do is cancel the policy and debit order as it is still going through the account an amount of R106.39 on the 1st of each month.

Please can someone contact me urgently to assist with this. Will really appreciate that.

It is an accident protection plan your father probably signed up for many years ago and forgot about. I am currently under this plan with Standard Bank. In the unlikely event that an accident takes place, i.e. you are hurt in a car accident or work accident and a sharp object pierces your eye or your spine, leaving you either blind or paralyzed etc. then a set total amount is paid out in cash to do with as you please.
