Good day EphraimMthimku.

We appreciate you reaching out to us.

ID and passport applications are processed on the home affairs website.

We only facilitate the payment process, and then you visit any of our participating branches for biometrics and collection.

Once the application has been initiated at dha.gov.za,

You need to subscribe first before you can make payments to DHA.

 Here's how:

  • Log in to Internet banking.
  • Click on Transact.
  • Under Pay, click My Bills.
  • Confirm the T's and C's by accepting
  • Search for DHA and subscribe before processing a payment.
  • Then process a payment.

The bank branches are also listed on the website.

You can check 2–4 weeks in advance for available dates.

Please let us know if you still require further assistance.

Kind regards,

Good day.

Hi @Shahuood,

You first need to visit the Home Affairs website to complete and submit an application form on https://ehome.dha.gov.za/echannel.

Then initiate payment to Home Affairs by signing in to your Standard Bank Internet Banking profile. Follow the below steps:

  • Select the ‘Pay and Transfer’ Tab
  • Then select ‘Pay MyBills’
  • ‘Billing beneficiaries’ and then ‘Dept of Home Affairs’

Once payment has been received by Home Affairs, the system will allow you to make an appointment at one of our specialised Standard Bank branches. Print and keep your booking confirmation letter and reference number

We hope this helps.

Regards,

Thokozile.

Hi @Mikhael1306

Thank you for coming back to us,

Once the payment has been made, the system, you should receive a booking confirmation and a reference number.  An SMS should be sent to you once the booking was made. You can present that SMS to the branch for further assistance.

Kind regards

Boipelo.
