Why the hell can the approvals not just come via the APP? why Email or SMS? Both end up timing out all the time and you have to resend.
Maybe have a talk with your IT folks

There is a new feature that allows you to switch your OTP from SMS to email.
It requires you to be DigiMe'd to be able to switch it.
Under settings on Internet banking, there's an option "Manage OTP preference".
It allows you to toggle between SMS, and email.
Should the email not be on any of your banking profiles, our team will not be able to assist.
Please send us the below documents to enable us to assist you further.
- Front and back of your card.
-3 specimen signatures
-Copy of ID and Passport.
-Letter confirming the email address you need to change the OTP's to and card number you use on internet banking.
Upon receipt of all correspondence, our team will assist you effectively.
Forward them to [email protected] for immediate assistance.

OTP's are amended by our branch team since they need to validate customers personal details. When a customer is not in the country, we will need security documents to ensure that we are assisting the accurate customer. Furthermore, we can only assist if the email address you would need to change to is on file. Should the email not be on any of your banking profiles, our team will not be able to assist.

Hi there,
My biggest problem is that I can;t get into my Internet banking either, as it needs an OTP which goes to my SA cell number (I no longer live in SA). So I can;t change my OTP method from SMS to email. What do I do?

Hi @AsipheNqavela, There's a new feature that allow customers who have completed their DigiME (Link & Secure) process to change how they receive their OTPs online. Customers will unfortunately not be able to load new details and can only select the options that are available on the system. You click on settings, then select manage OTP preference only on Internet banking.
